Nestled in the Shimogyo Ward district of Kyoto, the luxury hotel is centrally situated about a 20-minute walk from family attractions like the modern Kyoto Aquarium.

Location

The property boasts a prime location in Kyoto, relatively close to Gojo underground station. This Kyoto hotel offers proximity to such natural sights as Shosei-en Garden (1.3 km) and Maruyama Park (2.5 km). There is the Jōdo Shinshū Nishi-Hongan-ji Buddhist Temple approximately 5 minutes' drive away, while Kyoto bus station only a 5-minute walk from the deluxe accommodation.

    hotel is located within Kyoto Station itself, so it's great for getting around the city and making excursions to the surrounding area. We stayed 4 nights, quality-price ratio is fantastic, compared to other hotels in Japan. room is very spacious, with a very comfortable bathroom with shower and bathtub. breakfasts were great: You could choose between three options: western and Japanese buffet, big dining room and a lot of food options, western half buffet, more select and with a view, Japanese "luxury" as my son named it, that as soon as we discovered it we had to go there for breakfast the rest of the days. In general it is a 100% recommendable hotel.

    The swimming pool: you have to pay separately for the access, and it is not cheap. The worst thing is that they don't allow children, only 8-10 am.. We hoped to be able to take a bath in the afternoons and we couldn't do it.

    Couple with great comfort

    The location of the hotel is a big plus being above the train station. The staff arranged our dinner at a famous Kaiseki restaurant before we arrived, unexpected and wonderful!

    It wasn't exactly cheap, but honestly, what you get puts it in an acceptable range.

    The hotel services are compressive and helpful for traveller. The hotel locate right above the Kyoto station when render it to have a very advantageous geographical postiion for visitor.

    The hotel was great and delightful in general, had courteous staff with the service of the concierge. The location was awesome and brilliant, close to a train station. There were convenience stores and little stores around the property.

    immediate access to Kyoto Station, proximity to Isetan Department Store, good soundproofing in rooms

    The breakfast experience is chaotic, with persistent queues no matter the time of day!!! Perhaps reconsider the layout or expand breakfast hours to alleviate some of the congestion.

    The central location of the hotel makes it a best choice for business visitors. Availability of train, bus, and taxi stations at just few steps of the hotel should certainly suit those who will be moving a lot during their stay.

    The room's furnature was basic and lacked the artistic touches one finds outside the rooms and around the hotel.
